JJambaGrad

Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 October 2026

This policy explains what JambaGrad collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the website, the app, and every service that shares the JambaGrad account.

1. Information we collect

Account data you provide during registration: name, email address, gender, date of birth, phone number (optional), language and time zone. If you signed up with Google, we receive your email and display name from Google.

Content you create — projects, teams, messages, event registrations, forms and uploaded media — so the product can work as you expect.

Usage data: device and browser type, pages visited, feature interactions and timestamps. We use first-party cookies and an httpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in; you cannot be tracked across other websites with it.

2. How we use it

To run your account (sign-in, session restore, password reset), to show your work to the teams and events you choose to join, to send transactional notices (verification codes, event reminders, security alerts), and to improve the product using aggregated usage patterns.

Marketing or product-update emails are opt-in — you control that toggle at registration and any time afterwards.

3. When we share it

With services that host JambaGrad (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contracts that limit them to acting on our instructions; with other members when you make content visible to them; and when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. On deletion, personal data is removed or irreversibly anonymised within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, security or billing reasons.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and India's DPDP Act), you can access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to privacy@jambagrad.com and we respond within 30 days.

6. Security

Sessions ride on httpOnly cookies, access tokens live only in memory, and transport is encrypted with TLS. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever learn of an incident affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required.

7. Children's privacy

JambaGrad is for students aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone below that age; if we learn we have, we delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy in a material way, we will update this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the product or by email.

9. Contact

Privacy questions go to privacy@jambagrad.com, or use the channels on our contact page.
